Harrison Arkansas is quickly becoming known for its many festivals and events that take place throughout the year.  Special events are being added all the time to the Calendar of Events, but Harrison has many festivals and events that are held each year.  Check out the events calendar to see what's happening on a monthly basis or visit some of the pages that we have for the yearly events.

Crawdad Days is held the third week of May each year, Fiddlers Convention is held each year on Spring Break, the Bluegrass Festival is always held the third weekend in August, the Hot Air Balloon Championships are held the first weekend in September in conjunction with the Blue Sky Arts Festival and Harvest Homecoming is held the first weekend in October.  Harrison also boasts a huge 4th of July celebration, "Fire In the Sky, An American Festival".  Christmas is also a wonderful time in the Ozarks with the annual Christmas Lights and the Harrison Christmas Parade.
