Rules & Information for the Ozark Mountain Region Ride 4 Cash Poker Run

The Ozark Mountain Region Ride 4 Cash Poker Run will be held June 27 & 28, 2008.*

Grand Prize: $5,000.00 for first place of overall event (must be present at awards ceremony to win).

Entry Cost: $25.00 per run sheet. Includes: Run Sheet, door prize tickets, access to the trade show booths, Awards Ceremony on Saturday night, Show & Shine on Friday, Concert on Saturday night and Motorcycle Kick Stand Coaster (available for first 1000 registrants). **

Contingency Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for each day. For Friday, the first place hand and the lowest hand will be awarded a prize during the Saturday award ceremony (if the winner of event, will pick the second highest hand).

On Saturday, the first places hand (if the winner of event, will pick the second highest hand) and the lowest hand will be awarded prizes. They will be announced at the Saturday night awards ceremony. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening on Friday and Saturday nights. Participants must be present to win awards.

Ozark Mountain Region Ride 4 Cash Poker Run Rules:

  • Each participant will draw one poker card per stop per run sheet from the bag of cards.
  • Playing cards are worth the standard face value.
  • The highest five card poker hand out of seven cards will be declared the winner.
  • At each designated run stop, each participant will draw a card from a staff member. The card value will be designated on the run sheet. The sheet will include date, time, card received, and signature of staff member. After drawing the card, it will be returned to the bag for the next participant to draw.
  • Cards without all of the above information will result in disqualification.
  • The run stop locations will open at 10:00 AM and will close by 5:00 PM.
  • All cards must be returned to the Finish Line by 6:00 PM on both Friday and Saturday to be eligible. Any after that time will be disqualified. No exceptions!

  • Participants may play on both days if they wish, but each run sheet will be billed at $25.00.
  • Participants may purchase up to 8 run sheets per day per person. The run sheets will specify each card that was received with each hand so combining of more than one hand is illegal and will be disqualified.
  • When returning your poker hand, the run sheet will be tallied by a judge and the participant will signed off on that it was received by the judge and participant agrees with the hand specified.
  • The judge’s decision is final.
  • If the event is canceled because of weather, all pre-registration will be refunded.
  • The Harrison Convention & Visitors Bureau is not responsible for lost or stolen run sheets.
  • All riders must follow AR Motorcycle riding laws.
  • Proceeds will benefit Main Street Harrison Downtown Development.
  • In the event of a tie for first place, the two participants will play one hand of Texas Hold’em to determine the winner.
  • High hands will be ranked in order: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Pair, High Card
